LAST EDITED ON Jun-11-05 AT 10:53 PM (PDT) Hmmm... Let's see.... 1) Beginner's Guide to Voice Acting - I believe this has been done before, but nevertheless, always something useful. To know the process of getting accepting to a voice acting company, being assigned roles, and branching into other work. I suggest to get Patricia Ja Lee (PJ/Padee Lee) from Animaze Inc. She has done voice acting work, script writing, and actually on-screen acting. 2) Asian Censorship v. American Censorship - An explanation and/or debate of what TV series, animations and music get censored in Asian and later in America and for what reasons. This can go into details of culture, laws and court cases that have occured just recently. This would probably encourage the Tenjou Tenge fans to come due to CMX censoring the manga. 3) The Otaku's Guide to Anime History - Just basic information and its influence upon animation in other Asian nations and the US. Probably grab an author of anime textbooks for this. 4) Promotion of Idols Through TV Series - A rough overview of Asian music singers/bands getting their first start by doing music fo anime and drama series and making it big right after. There's a music critic from Anime News Network who may be able to talk about this. 5) The Trend of Gothic Lolita Fashion - Discussion of the fashion trend, when it started, when it was pushed mainstream and how it affected anime, manga, movies, and TV series. 6) The Intergration of Anime and Video Games - History, which ones gain its popularity through cel-like animation and the loss of cel animation in modern Japanese games due to 3D animation. 7) Making Your Own UFO Catcher Doll - Something to grab the crafty people of all audiences. They're everywhere in Japan. Might as well make a panel for it. You could probably find someone who wants to do a tutorial on UFOcatcher.com. |
