"Event idea"

Since PMX has had a couple of martial arts demonstrations the idea dawned on me recently that it'd be pretty cool to see a kendo demo at PMX. E-bogu.com (or should I say the dojo they set up called butokuden) did an event at japan expo. And since they are located in the LA area so it might not be too hard to get them to do a presentation and/or panel. A workshop might not be feasable since there's always the liability issue, but since the first class for beginners tend to be basic movement and practicing 'men' (strike to the helmet, not the english word men) which would be done on the protected sensei, it might be possible. I guess you guys would have to talk to them about that. Anyway, good luck with everything and I'll see you guys at this next PMX.

I saw those guys at Japan Expo and they were great.

But one key question is how popular demonstrations would be. A lot of them were pretty poorly attended at the con. The complaint was that after a few, there wasn't much interest in watching many more.
