"Bold, new anime vision"

I'd like to do something shocking this year. I don't even know if it is possible.

I'd like to NOT show anything that is commercially available in the US (unless it relates to the GoH's). That means that new titles that are announced, but not yet released can be shown at the con. Also, I'd like to get titles directly from the anime companies in Japan to show off.

I think that in a Blockbuster age where people can rent or download anything commercially available, why bother going into a video room to watch it?

Thoughts?

Mike

That would be cool. I'm up to seeing some new stuff that I've never seen or heard about before. It's always cool. ^.^

That might be a neat way to get exposed to new series. I haven't stepped into a screening room at an anime con for a long time now, mostly because they tend to play lots of commercially available stuff that I've either already seen, or that I can't really watch because they're going to show episodes 5-8 and I haven't even seen the first yet.

Do it. Go for it. The reason I stopped going into video rooms is because the shows were readily available.

Also, you can use this as an oppurtunity to "premiere" new shows...
