I understand that you're holding the convention this year during Labor Day Weekend. This means that PMX has an opportunity that may never come around again!

I would say that it's almost imperative now that you negotiate an appearance by Maaya Sakamoto for that Friday or Saturday, especially since she is already swinging by Dallas, Texas for an Anime Fest concert on September 4.

If Nami Tamaki could hit 3 conventions, within a week-long span last year, then it should be well in the realm of possibility to convince Maaya Sakamoto to take on 2 US conventions in one American swing. You might never get a chance like this again!

If you are able to negotiate this deal, then it's also pretty important that you announce it as soon as possible. People are registering and are going to be booking flights and hotels to one of these 2 conventions very soon, and PMX will lose out huge if it lets Anime Fest generate all the hype and publicity for themselves long before you do anything about it.

I've hoped to see Maaya Sakamoto at a con for years. Someone on ANN mentioned that there may be a possiblity to share guests between the two cons. I really hope you can pull that off because I would rather go to PMX.

Maaya's going to AX already this year though. I think it'd be kinda silly to have her at two cons in SoCal, even if they're a few months apart. @_@;

But I also realize this thread is a few months old, before her announcement for AX. ^_^;
