>What's the time limit for masquerade skits? In some areas of the >guidelines it says 2 minutes, but in other areas it says 3 minutes. It >was 3 minutes last year, but to be safe I'd rather check with you than >just assume nothing's changed. GAH I thought I had caught all the 3 minutes :/ I had to adjust it back to 2 minutes this year because we are REALLY going to have to get it done in 3 hours because of room scheduling. So, if you figure 50 groups @ 3 minutes each --- that's 2 1/2 hours -- and that doesn't give us any real flexibility (especially as we will probably have ~15 minutes of special presentations, ~15 minutes of judges' haggling, and 30 minutes of awards presentations). Though -- now that I do the calculations (gee, I wuv my calculator ^^; ) It looks like I can probably do 2.5 minutes per skit... That's 2 hours about (and since we always get a few walkons, that will be flexible enough). SO, 2.5 min sound like a compromise? I'll fix it tonight when I add in our prize values. And you read the guidelines! ;_; (crying in happiness) Many hugs and it's great to see you again this year. I loved your skit last year with the retro video game characters ~misa |

It's totally understandable having to cut the time limit down, with the show being be held earlier in the day to work around all the concerts. Especially when one has to prepare for the masquerade possibly running late and all. It always seems to happen at nearly every con, regardless of the preparation @.@ >And you read the guidelines! ;_; (crying in happiness)
Guidelines are always important No show is ever exactly the same. >Many hugs and it's great to see you again this year. I loved your skit >last year with the retro video game characters
Thank you XD We had a lot of fun last year, and we're REALLY psyched about coming back.
